This production line is suitable for automatic welding of bridge bent‑cap steel reinforcement and can replace traditional manual welding.
It cuts down the traditional four‑person welding team to only two operators, reducing labor intensity and lowering the risk of occupational‑health hazards caused by welding work.
The production line adopts robotic CO₂ gas‑shielded welding instead of electrode welding, which greatly improves welding quality and effectively reduces welding defects such as slag inclusions, cracks and deformation.
Once welding parameters and motion trajectories are set, the robot can repeat welding movements precisely to deliver stable welding quality. By contrast, manual welding suffers from variable welding speed, wire extension and other factors, making consistent quality hard to achieve.
Equipped with an innovative double‑station robotic automatic‑welding design, the robot carries out welding work at one station while workers perform workpiece clamping at the other. This gives full play to the robot’s capability of continuous operation and greatly boosts working efficiency.
