In recent years, with the advancement of technology, an increasing number of pile foundation rebar cages at construction sites have adopted threaded lap connections, while traditional welded lap joints are gradually being phased out. As a result, how to properly handle threaded lapping has become a major concern for many contractors. The CNC rebar sawing, threading and grinding production line is an intelligent CNC rebar processing system specifically designed to solve this problem. Today, let's take a closer look at how it works.

The Production Process

First, the line cuts the raw rebar to the specified lengths. The required cutting length is entered on the CNC screen, and the raw rebar is loaded onto the raw material rack by an overhead crane, ready for cutting.Workers then manually push the raw rebar onto the conveying track, and it is automatically transported to the sawing station for cutting. After being cut to the specified length at the sawing station, the rebar is conveyed via the transfer track to the semi-finished storage bin, where it awaits threading. The rebar in the semi-finished storage bin is flipped onto the threading track one by one, and both ends are threaded.Once both ends are threaded, the rebar is flipped onto the grinding track, where both ends are ground and polished. After both ends are ground, the rebar is flipped into the finished-product storage bin, ready for use.

Key Points

As shown above, the entire production process requires very little manual labor, which is why this production line is increasingly seen at construction sites. Many contractors have moved from initial reluctance to growing acceptance, and the line is becoming more and more popular.

It should be noted that the line processes the two ends of the raw rebar rather than finished cages. It also has certain limitations, such as a relatively large footprint and high requirements for site levelness.

We hope this article has given you a better understanding of the CNC rebar sawing, threading and grinding production line. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
